I have several questions regarding application process and education in Australia as a whole. I assume you are already studying in Australia or have studied... 1)How did you apply to University, over e-mail or post/mail? How long did it take you to receive an offer? 2)What is the next step after reception of an offer, providing unconditional offer? Should send an offer to embassy, CIP or back to uni? 3)How long does it last to procure visa, because i would like to depart to Australia by this summer for Semester 2? Or in your case? 4)Will i be able to defer, postpone my studies according to an offer, unless i got visa in time? 5)I've read a lot about weather in Brisbane in forum Australia 2009, and is it indeed that damp, wet in this city, since i wish to go to UQ? 6)And finally, what would you say about education itself in your uni? You are like police, asking questions about action taken in the past and related not to yourself :-). Answer is: it depends on uni. I think much has been written in Австралия-2009. YOU MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE OFFER. It is very important. After you send the acceptance form to uni, uni will issue the Confirmation Of Enrollment. CoE is the important doc for visa. Some unis require to pay tuition fee first, then issue CoE. My suggestion is: As you receive an offer, send it to CIP. Ask CIP whether to accept an offer. May be a program uni offers does not match CIP's requirements. 3)How long does it last to procure visa, because i would like to depart to Australia by this summer for Semester 2? Or in your case? Answer: much info has been written in Австрали 2009 about visa process. My case is not standard case. In my case everything was "first time" and difficult with Australia. Now visa process is easy, just need to follow their instructions. My suggestion: take your responsibility for everything related to visa process. 4)Will i be able to defer, postpone my studies according to an offer, unless i got visa in time? Do not worry, people in unis, embassy and CIP are not new in student visa process. I am surprised, in Австралия-2009 much info was written about visa and study, but few words about weather in Brisbane.
